Argentine singer Nicki Nicole exploded against the hundreds of criticisms she received on social networks after her viral video talking to Billie Eilish at the Grammys. In an extensive statement she posted on her X account, she asked them to "stop throwing hate at her."

Nicki Nicole and Billie Eilish exchanged greetings, a chat, and a photo together at the Grammys. According to the Argentine News Agency, the singer from Rosario attended the prestigious international music awards after being nominated for Best Urban Music Album for her "Naiki."

"They just introduced us, and I was able to congratulate her on her award, tell her how much I admire her, we laughed, and I told her to come to Argentina as soon as possible!" Nicki wrote.

However, the prestigious award went to Bad Bunny.

During Monday night, the interpreter of "Wapo traketero" expressed her anguish on her personal X account after seeing the hundreds of negative messages she received after the video of her talking to Billie Eilish went viral. In the video, she was allegedly mentioned the resemblance between them and how "they call her the Argentine Billie Eilish."

However, she denied that that was the topic of conversation:

"Actually, we talked about a meme that talks about that, of which she was aware. I never compared myself, much less!!! And yes, she is very beautiful in person," she clarified.

In another tweet, she referred to the criticisms she received, where users called her a "ghost" and "only talks about herself": "AAAAA for God's sake, I didn't say that! I didn't compare myself, much less, and I didn't bother her at all!"

She also pleaded for them to stop attacking her over false situations: "Please, stop throwing hate at me for a video clip and for every single thing you invent about me every second!"

Tired of what she read on X, Nicki Nicole addressed the haters and advised them that if they don't like her music, they simply shouldn't consume it, stating that the cruel comments "affect her a lot."

"The truth is that I really tried to enjoy the Grammys, but obviously I read the horrible comments they make about me, when they tell me that I don't deserve to be in that place and they criticize even the way I speak," she wrote.

"Know that daily hate really affects and a lot, I am not anyone to give morality lessons, but I would appreciate it if you don't like my music and my world, you simply don't consume it."

In turn, the artist concluded with a reflection directed at the critics, stating that it is not necessary "to highlight every second in the cruelest possible way" that what she does, they don't like.

"How am I going to say something like what the headline says???"
